I have lived in many places - Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas - but I've lived in Lancaster, PA, now for more than 20 years. I live with my husband, cats Sully and Theo, and dog Bear. My daughters are in college now. I miss them every day.

This year, I saw Montana for the first time, visiting my younger daughter who was working on a ranch as a wrangler (epic summer job!). The photos on the site now are from Yellowstone, except for the one on this page, which is from my neighborhood.

I recently realized that I spent my youth pining after the past, and now that I'm in my fifties, I only want to live in the moment. It seems like I have that backward. Or maybe it's the business of childhood to go looking for angst, and the business of adulthood to run from it. This is where I find myself.
